Baked Maple Stuffed Pears

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350° F.
  • Slice your pears in half and scoop out the seeds, and slice the bottom so they lay flat.
  • Add your gluten-free oats, maple syrup, chopped pecans, vanilla, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
  • Stuff the filling into the pears until all the filling is used up.
  • Place the pears into a greased baking dish. Bake for 40-50 
    minutes until the pears are soft and the topping is crisp.
  • Remove the stuffed pears from the tray and let cool. For an extra touch, top with whipped cream
  • 2 Bosc pears 
  • 1/2 c gluten-free oats
  • 1/3 c maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 c chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 1/4 tsp salt
